Senior Accountant
Summary:
Financial firm seeks a professional on their financial team who will assist in performing all accounting and operations funneling associated with the fund investments.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the for the review of the P&L, reconciliations, trade entries, breaks, fails, custodies, etc.
Oversight and review of the Junior Accountants
Actively assisting in new projects including the implementation of a new accounting, security and reconciliation system
Location:
Tokoyo, Japan Head Office
Requirements:
Must have 4 – 6 years of Financial Services experience, public/private mix, CPA strongly preferred
Prefer Geneva experience or strong product knowledge in bank loan, derivatives and/or equities
BA in Accounting or Finance.
Excellent accounting skills and experience, strong communication (written and verbal), analytical and spreadsheet skills
A strong work ethic and attention to detail combined with “big picture” problem-solving skills are also required
A positive, team oriented attitude with flexibility to manage change and identify opportunities for change is essential.
